Takatof is a company help the volunteers to volunteering in
many place around UAE and help other country, and it organized many conferences,
and in 2009 Takatof done 60 thousand hour in 100 different company by
approximately 6 thousand volunteer.
Through my volunteer experience I learned a lot of things,
when I start volunteer in Takatof I
think volunteer is boring and it’s waste of time, but after the first day my
think is change, because I found it good and I meet new people, and when I went
to the volunteer I see old people then I know that the volunteer does
not care on age because any body
can volunteer if he is young or old .
And I learn how to work with team and divide the work
between all volunteers, when we went there we start to organized the match and
help the player, and we went to organized gift to the hockey players at a Zayed
sport city, and we help the referee to
write the number of the player who change in the match.
I think volunteer change my outlook because when I start
volunteering in every day I learn new things like how to do a plan for the day
and how to organize my time between studies and volunteer. And we learn that we
should respect the leader of the team.
In the future I think that I should start awareness people
about volunteering because it’s effect in our community to help other people
and our self.
